Yes, BitTest now has a windows version. download and have fun! at it’s page!
Since herr_prof asked so nicely, I’m installing winXP in sun’s virtualbox so I can build BitTest for windows.
So I’ve released BitTest, hope you guys wont be to upset about me not making a windows version, but I’d rather not start that OS anymore. Soon I wont have a windows computer at all, I’m gonna give it to my kids.
And this is how it looks like!
I added one more functionality, you can switch the bits. That is, if a bit was on it will be off, and vice versa. This adds to nice distortions that I really like. They are nice.
Anyways I’ve uploaded a sound-test of the effect in action, first part is a drumbeat, where i turn off bit’s then invert bits, then go wild with the bits, then I do the same thing again with Eddie Meduza’s Runke Balle.
take a listen : BitTest-test
Made a bitcrusher yesterday evening, just as a test.
It converts the audio to 8 bit, then enables you to turn of each bit.
Moving from Joomla to wordpress, trevligt!
